A bet is only worth writing down because a year arrives when somebody has to say whether it happened. These are the entries whose year has come, or is about to. The hand that wrote each one is the hand that settles it — including when it turns out wrong, which is most of the time and is the point.
Their year is the next one.
AI has become one of the easiest ways to generate text, but AI generated text is often easy to recognize through its tone and characteristic vocabulary. I would not be surprised if some candidates let AI write their texts during the campaign, and even accidentally read parts of their prompts.
